Burns Day at the Burns Statue in Allen Gardens

Today is Burns Day and I was invited to join the St. Andrews Society of Toronto for the annual celebration at the Burns statue in Allen Gardens. This was my first time down there for Burns Day. I was made to feel like family and it was a wonderful time. Afterward we went to Harbord House for lunch and more conversation. It was such a great day and I must thank the St. Andrew's Society for their hospitality.

Tartan Tuesday January 9th

It was good to start the year with a night at The Feather's Pub for this months Tartan Tuesday. We decided to do it on the second Tuesday this month to give everyone a break after Christmas and New Year.
